It is with great sadness to Announce the passing of Andres Tugade, 90 who was born on October 18th, 1929 in the Philippines. He passed peacefully with his family by his side on March 21st, 2020. He left the Philippines in 1976 to pursue a better life for his family in America. He left behind a wife, a daughter and a son to work hard and be able to send for them when the time was right. His family joined him in the U.S. in 1978 and started a new life in Alameda, CA. Then he moved his family with his wife Romula to San Leandro, CA in 1981 after having afforded a house at 1552 Gardner Boulevard. He worked tirelessly in the Grand Auto distribution warehouse in Oakland, CA until his retirement. He is survived by his eldest daughter, Andrelyn (Lyn), his son, Andres Jr (Andrew) and a grandson, Jerald (from his eldest daughter Lyn) to take on the family name. Now he leaves us to join his departed wife Romula in eternal peace.
