AMY BIEHN's Obituary
Amy Irene Biehn July 22, 1919 to July 29, 2013 Amy Irene Biehn passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on July 29, 2013. She was 94 years old. Amy was born in Boulder, Colorado on July 22, 1919 and was one of six girls and three boys. It was here in Colorado that she met her husband Lloyd. In 1940, she and her husband moved to California. She resided in San Leandro for most of her life. Amy was an avid gardener and baker and loved to shop. She took great pride in her home and loved being a stay-at-home mom. Amy is survived by her daughter, Joan Gerholdt, granddaughter, Amy Gilmore and great-grandson, Brian Gilmore, as well as her two remaining sisters, Esther Fowler and Trudy Haguewood. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Biehn. Amy was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt to several nieces and nephews and friend to many. All were made to feel welcome in Amy’s home. For all of us who knew and loved her, we will carry her memory in our hearts forever. Services will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at 1:00 pm in the Reflection Chapel
