Amos Quick's Obituary
Amos Quick was born in Thackerville, Oklahoma on August 25, 1925. During WWII he served in the Coast Guard as 'Radar Red' the radar operator on a transport ship seeing the world during those perilous times.He came home to the love of his life, Patsy Manning; they married on July 6, 1947. Amos did many different jobs, which made him a man of many talents who could fix almost anything. He spent over 25 years as a painter with K&B Homes as head of the warrantee department.He taught us to love and serve God, family and country. He left this life on June 29, 2012 to be with Jesus and his Patsy forever.He leaves behind his children and grandchildren: Cathy, Jim & Kara Keene, Katelyn & Chris Padilla, Lesley Kincade, Stacy Quick, Patrick, Donna, Alex, & Kelly Quick, Sheila, Gary, Chad, Jenny, & Regan Brumfield, Shannon, Caden, Gage, Presley, & Logan Pascoe, Samantha & Sydney Gordon. Brother, Sister, & Brother & Brother Sister-in-laws: Clyde Quick, Goldie & Dave Shook, Cleda Garrison, Rixie Santos, Glades Sheridan, Rachel Quick, Evelyn & Lucille Manning &many cherished nieces, nephews and friends.This Separation is only temporary, we will see you again.The Viewing is Monday, July 9, 2012 at 5 pm and the Service is Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 1 pm at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward, California.
