ALLAN VAN STOECKER's Obituary
Allan Van Stoecker born April 5, 1937 in South Dakota. Died July 21, 2004 in his home in the Oakland Hills after a battle with cancer. During his time in the Air Force he spent 3 years in Japan as an interpreter . He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local Union #3 since 1964. Allan was also a licensed contractor for over 20 years and he loved fixing up old houses.Allan is survived by his loving wife Jytte, beloved children Hanna & Michael Stoecker, brother to Bernie Feist and Verna Ehens, and adoring grandfather of Jacob Stoecker.Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, July 27th at 3:00pm at Chapel of the Chimes 4499 Piedmont Ave. Oakland, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Allan's name to a charity of your choice.
