Alicia Bautista Jose's Obituary
Alicia Bautista Jose, age 76 of Newark, CA passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022.
She is survived by her husband Joey; siblings Maximo Jr., Jose, Ramon and Roberto; children Agong, Israel and Trina, grandchildren Isabeth Mae, Ella Mae, Renato, Marjorie and Maynard; great grandchildren Kieffer and Alexa; nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents Maximo Sr. and Purificacion Bautista.
Alice grew up in Malabon, Philippines where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She worked for over 30 years as nurse in Manila, Libya and California, USA. She was an adventurer and enjoyed traveling; her favorite place being the pristine white beach of Boracay. She loved spending time with family and friends, and savored Filipino food any chance she got. She was everyone’s beautiful Tita Alice, who always had a smile in her face.
She was a generous person and cared deeply for her family till the end and we take comfort that she is now at peace.
A virtual memorial service will be held on March 2022 to celebrate the life of Alice.
