Alice Jeanette Fernandez's Obituary
Alice passed away at home with her loving daughter at her side. Alice left a legacy of love for her family to follow. Her life spoke clearly of her faith and compassion for others. She had such a glorious smile and lovely brown twinkling eyes. Christmas was her favorite time of the year; she always created a magical celebration for her children. As Alice quietly loved others, she changed the world. We, Alice's daughters, were blessed to have had such a loving mother. We would like to thank Joann Farjardo, Alice's nurse for taking such loving care of our mother. Alice is survived by her daughters, Edna Graham, Patty Evansizer (Jessie), Jeanette Gainsbrugh (Johathan), Vickie Ivey (Dennis), Cheryl Serota (Jeff), and Alice Archer (Doug); her step-daughter, Joan Chandle; 20 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; her sister, May Cuff (Les); her brother, Bill Cohen (Doris). She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Fernandez, her son-in-law, Jim Graham, and her step-son, Arnold Fernandez. Family and friends are invited to celebrate her extraordinary life. The visitation is Thursday, January 5, 2012 from 5 to 9 pm, the funeral is Friday, January 6, 2012 at 1:30 pm, followed by a reception. All services are at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward,
