Alfredo G. Benavidez Jr.'s Obituary
Alfredo G. Benavidez Jr., lovingly known as Alfy, passed away on February 9, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on May 13, 1950, in Texas, he spent most of his life in Union City, California, where he built a legacy of hard work, love, and dedication to his family.
A devoted father, Alfy is survived by his beloved daughters: Kim Sandoval (Lance Nunes); Maricela Sepulveda (Paco Sepulveda); Rachelle Benavidez (Jaime Guzman); Erica Rodriguez (Mando Rodriguez); Tina Nishihira (Lance Nishihira) and Andrea Bueno (Steven Vasquez). As well as his brother Albert Benavidez and sister Diama Escobedo. He was also blessed with 15 cherished grandchildren who brought him endless joy and soon to be born great grandchild, due September 2025, from his granddaughter Precious. His family was the center of his world, and he treasured every moment spent with them.
Alfy had a passion for traveling and a deep love for all things Disney and all music by Elvis Presley. Whether exploring new places or experiencing the magic of Disney with his loved ones, he found happiness in adventure and creating lasting memories.
For more than 40 years, Alfy worked in construction, leaving behind a lifetime of dedication, craftsmanship, and hard work.
Alfy’s life was filled with love, laughter, and adventure, and his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A service to honor his life will be held on March 10th, 2025 from 12:00 to 1:30pm at
