Alfred Paul Sloan, 87, of Hayward, CA passed away on October 19, 2019. He was born in Keyes, OK on January 25, 1932.Alfred studied philosophy at Bethany Nazarene College. He was married to Margaret Ellen Dickinson for 55 years. Alfred was a member of the Hayward Church of the Nazarene for 42 years where he served faithfully as a Sunday School teacher, church treasurer, and board member for many years.He is survived by his wife, Margaret; children Alan Sloan, Martha Wilkerson, James Sloan, and Diana Brown; grandchildren Daneen Wilkerson, Brayton Wilkerson, Gianna Kornrumpf, Kaileen Wilkerson, Drake Wilkerson, Kaitlin Brown, Karissa Brown, Kameron Wilkerson, Camilyn Wilkerson, and Lyssa Wilkerson.A graveside service will be held at 1pm on October 29, 2019 at Chapel of the Chimes Hayward.
