ALFONSO DASSIE SR. Sept. 14, 1932 – March 15, 2008 Passed away in Oakland at the age of 75. Survived by his loving daughter, Spring Dassie- Benfield; son, Alfonso Dassie, Jr.;daughter; Trimarie Rilveria Dassie;son, Benet Benfield; grandson, Benet Benfield II, the pending Dassie triplets, Great Aunt Thelma B. Johnson and many family and friends. Preceded in death by his late wife, Alice Joy Dassie. During the Korean War, he served his beloved country in the Marines. A faithful Christian, he actively served the Lord at the Elmhurst SDA Church. He enjoyed golf, gourmet cooking, reading, and crossword puzzles. Family and friends are invited to CHAPEL OF THE CHIMES MEMORIAL PARK AND FUNERAL HOME, 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward, CA for visitation Thursday, March 20, 2008, from 5:30- 8:30 and Funeral Services on Friday, March 21st at 10:30 am, interment to follow services.
