Aletha Virginia Stone a Pleasanton, California resident entered into rest Sunday, September 15, 2002 in Livermore. Born in Covington, Indiana on May 3, 1915, she was 87 years of age. Aletha "Virginia" was born on a dairy farm. She served with American Red Cross during WWII. She lived in the bay area for over 60 years. She loved playing bridge, bowling with her grandson Craig, traveling and entertaining. She was truly one of a kind and will be missed by those she loved. Loving mother of Nancy Mullins & Barbara Saute of Pleasanton and Frank Stone III of Twain Harte. Devoted grandmother of four grandchildren: Craig & Lori Mullins and Sarah & James Saute. Friends are welcome to attend a graveside service Monday, September 23, 2002 at 9:30 a.m. at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park. "Service of Marked Distinction"
