Aldareed Carrie LaChance, 87 passed away on July 24, 2001 at her home in Hayward, California. She was born on April 28, 1914 in Hollis, Oklahoma. She was a resident of Hayward, California for 60 years. She was a Homemaker for 38 years.She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was a compassionate and warm person. She was always there to listen and cared to share advice. She loved to share her love for Jesus with anyone who would listen. She didn't know a stranger. She loved flowers, children and country music. She was a great traveling companion to family and friends.She was a member of the National N.R.A. She was a long standing member of Melrose Baptist Church (now known as East Hills Community Church of Oakland). She worked for J.C. Penny's, United Airlines and retired from Oakland Unified School District. She leaves behind her dear friend and long time companion, Cornelius Daniels and his family; her two daughters, Claireed Allen and Valerie Weld; son, Stanley Weld; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
