Alberta Inez George's Obituary
Alberta passed away Friday May 3, 2002 at the age of 85 years. Born August 25, 1916 in Lemore, CA. Alberta retired as a hostess from the Ranch Restaurant after 30 years of service. She was an owner / operator of three restaurants in Yuma, AZ prior to coming to Hayward. She was an avid fisherman and loved being outdoors, She enjoyed being around people and she never knew a stranger. She loved spending time with family and friends and was often known as a peacemaker. She was a loving, genuine and warm person who will greatly be missed by all who knew and loved her. Loving mother of Dona and her husband Jim Hartleib of San Jacinto, and Stanley E. Albright and his wife Dee of Livermore. Dear sister of Aura Mae Savage of Yuma, AZ, Edward Graves of Lake Elisnor. Devoted grandmother of Stan Taylor (Laurie), Michael Taylor (Michelle), Jennifer Niemela (Richard), Kerrie Sanderson (Mike), Dan Albright and 10 great-grandchildren, she is also survived by many step-children, step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren, and many friends. She was preceded in death by Andre George. Visitation will be held Tuesday May 7, 2002 from 5:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary in Hayward. Funeral service will be held Wednesday May 8, 2002 at 1:30 P.M. in Reflection Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park and Funeral Home 32992 Mission Blvd. in Hayward. “Service of Marked Distinction”
