ALBERT JORDAN's Obituary
Albert was born in Tulare County, CA on May 26, 1928. He entered peacefully into rest on October 10, 2014 at his home in Hayward surrounded by his loving family. Albert was raised in Visalia,CA and graduated from Redwood High School. He proudly served in he United States Army, Korean War from 1950-1952. After returning home, he married Faye, the love of his life in 1953. They recently celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary with family and friends. Al moved his family to the East Bay Area in 1956. He began working for Judson Steel Company in Emeryville before becoming and employee of PIE Trucking where he worked for 20 years as a truck mechanic and painter. He then worked for Lucky Stores Garage in San Leandro for 10 years before retiring in 1990. Al had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. He enjoyed flea markets and yards sales where he would collect old tools and antiques. He loved animals and always had a dog as a companion. Al (often called “Honest AL”) was hard working, loving family man. He was loved by many and we will miss him dearly. Al is survived by his wife, Faye, son Albert Jr (Connie) of Castro Valley, two daughters, Brenda Younan (Bob) of Fremont and Donna Fuller (Greg) of Clayton, five grandchildren, Daniel Cueba, Dean and Katie Jordan, Dominic and Anastasia Younan, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Angelo and Anastasia Jordan, sister Ethel Jordan and brothers Gust and Bob Jordan.
