AJIT SINGH CHADHA's Obituary
Born in Jabalpur, India in 1953, to Lal Singh Chadha and Dayavanti Kaur Chadha, Sardar Ajit Singh Chadha was an extraordinary gentleman. He received his Bachelor’s from Campion School in Bhopal, India, after which he worked for the Punjab Sind Bank. He met Satinder Kaur Sethi in 1980, and was married shortly afterwards. 1981 and 1984 were the best years of his life, as he brought his beautiful daughters Avleen and Vineeta into the world. He moved his family to the Bay Area in 1988 in search of better education and opportunities, but never confused success with the precious time he adored with his children. Becoming a skilled Quality Control engineer, he quickly seized job opportunities at several different companies and firms, contributing his deeply held values of honesty, genuine work ethic, and dependability, as well as his light-hearted camaraderie which earned the love and trust of his colleagues. For leisure, he enjoyed gardening, reading the daily Indian newspaper, serving at the Gurdwara, and boasting about his grandchildren. Sardar Ajit Singh Chadha will be remembered most for his selfless acts of caring for others, his unassuming sincere attitude, and his contentment that was centered on the finest things in life: bringing joy to his family by being a loyal husband, a devoted father, and a loving grandfather. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, two son-in-laws who he called his own, and two grandchildren.
