Mr Agustin Nimrod Macariola Panares III's Obituary
Born on September 6, 1962, Agustin Nimrod “Spanky” M. Panares III was named after his renowned educator, grandfather Agustin Panares Sr. and bemedalled father Sgt. Agustin Panares Jr. of the Manila Metropolitan Police Force in the Philippines. His mother is the late Asuncion “Ciony’ Macariola Panares.
His primary education is from Saint Anthony School and he studied in the prestigious Manila Science High School where he exemplified leadership in sports, the cadet corps, and showed agility in Science, Social Science and Mathematics. He studied in Datamex Computer Institute where after discovering his ingenuity in IT solutions he was hired as IT Instructor at 19.
From 1983 to 1992, he worked in the Al Ahmadi Computer Systems in Saudi Arabia. He moved to the USA in 1992 where his IT career spanned 24 years including stints with Franklin Templeton, AAA. He was Director of Operations of Electronic Arts (EA) Sports and was also Director of Operations of Perforce Software.
Spanky is survived by his wife Flordeliza “ Daisy” Caparas Panares and daughters Catherine, Faith, Abigail, Angela and Frances, son-in-law Juan Zulueta, granddaughters Charlee Zoe, Janne Love and Pauline Joy, siblings Adrielle, Nimrod and Ann Margaret and nieces Julia Mariah Amber, Danae Anne, Camille Joyce and nephew Jerome Agustin.
He is an active and faithful member of the Heart of the Bay Christian Centre at 24800 Hesperian Boulevard in Hayward, California where a memorial service is scheduled on Tuesday, 25 October 2016 at 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
