Adrian George “Skip” Cruz “Skip” July 4, 1941 August 27, 2008 “Skip” Adrian George Cruz peacefully passed away at his home in San Leandro on August 27th, 2008. Excitedly reached his 67th birthday on July 4th of this year. Longtime resident of Hayward and recently moved to Mission Bay Retirement Community. Survived by his family: mother Josephine, daughter Jacquenette and son-in-law Alan Colvin, and daughter Lennea Cruz. Doting Papa to Stephanie, Joshua, Jordan, Nathan and Rachel…they are his pride and joy. Retired in 2003 after 38 years with Goodyear Tire a Teamster of Local 70. Continued to enjoy working Saturdays at the “lockshop” Transbay Lock and Key. Labeled “Mr. Fixit” by his family & friends, he loved to work with his hands. Loved trains, planes and automobiles and tinkering in his workshop. Recently enjoyed cruzin’ around town in his Sky. A memorial service will be held on September 5th, 2008 at 7pm at Redwood Chapel in Castro Valley. Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward, 510-471-3363
