Loving mother, adored grandmother and great-grandmother, Adeline “Addie” Trampetti, age 89, of Castro Valley, passed into God’s hands on Tuesday, October 8, 2013. Employed for 30 years by Hof’s Enterprises, she managed various hof braus throughout the State of California, where her biggest joy was interacting with the customers, and, ultimately, providing them with the type of hospitality that always kept them coming back to see her. Addie found great joy in taking cruises, travelling to Hawaii, and loved dancing as it kept her spirit young at heart. In her later years, Addie could be found sitting at her son’s bagel shop chatting with the locals, and, in her typical fashion of always wanting to stay busy, occasionally sweeping up at the end of the day .She is survived by her son, Tom Trampetti and his wife Debbie of Castro Valley, CA, four loving grandchildren, Mike Trampetti of Chicago, IL, Charlie Trampetti (Christy) of Sacramento, CA, Tony Trampetti of Walnut Creek, CA, and Dalton Jiminez (Jennifer) of Sacramento, CA and three great-grandchildren, Dylan and Louis Trampetti, and Savannah Jiminez; her sister, Lorraine Hughes of Houston, TX; and her brother, Calvin Hoffman of Castro Valley, CA.In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers Emil Hoffman, Oscar Hoffman and Dave Hoffman; her brother-in-law, Bud Hughes; her sister-in-law Maureen Hoffman; her sister-in-law Otillia Jurief.A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Monday, October 14, 2013 at 1:00 PM also at the Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home.
