Benny ,you will be missed by my husband Nene ( Jesus Salaverria ) . Not only him but me also. There’s always warmth whenever we go to Hayward with you around, feeling at home with your kind heart and closeness to us whenever we visit and had a sleep over at your house to see Imelda ,you ,Mimi and Chris. We feel you are a brother to us ,treating us your own family. I feel at home being there with you ,cooking for us and like being excited when you know we will be coming to Hayward from Sacramento. So worried when I started seeing you with those swelling of your lower extremities ,and your losing too much weight. Seeing you sick and depriving interest in your usual day to day activities makes me worry secretly. You are not the Benny we used to know,emaciated and deprieve of energy ,much more not the non stop talker Benny. Seeing you suffer with abdominal fluid retention, and your desire to eat but can’t make it due to your dreaded illness ( Cancer of the Liver ) by looking at you makes us sick,. We do not like you to go…….but seeing you with that situation hurts us more. The only consolation we have now that you are at peace. Benny, just to let you know that there is a big difference in your house at Hayward, in your sudden absence. I can feel it, even the dogs Pedro & Oreo misses you. Nene miss you too I can sensed it ,he is not vocal of his feelings . My eyes with tears writing this , good bye to you Benny ,it hurts but see you later in the next life. Nene and I lose a Brother like You . So glad you rested from this Worldly pain! You are Gone but not Forgotten ! Surely You will be missed.
