JOVITA ARAGON January 27,1927-February 5, 2015 Resident of Union CityJovita Aragon, 88, along-time resident of Union City,CA passed peacefully into the arms of Our Lord on Feb 5, 2015 with her loving family by her side.Born to Josefina & Jesus Solorio on Jan 27,1927 in Chicago, Ill. Jovita came to Decoto, Ca in 1950 where she met her loving husband of 62 yrs Cruz Aragon (deceased). Dedicated wife and mother of 8; Maria Aragon, Miguel Aragon(deceased), Leticia Aragon(deceased), Yolanda Gomez, Cruz Aragon, Ernesto Aragon, Sylvia Munoz & Irma Slingerland. She was an incredible cook, enjoyed shopping and had an infectious laugh. She endured many years of failing health but would always have a heart- warming smile. She will be terribly missed by all who knew her. Especially by her children,11 Grand-children & 10 Great Grand-children.”La Reina”she was the Queen of our hearts and soul of the family. A de-dicated member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church she believed deeply in her faith. Viewing/Rosary Mass will be held on Wed Feb. 11 2015 5-9 pm at Our Lady of the Rosary Church 703 C St.Union City, Ca. Funeral Mass held at Our Lady of the Rosary Church Thurs. Feb 12,10:00 am.Burial to follow at Chapel of the Chimes.
