Fluelin Amon De Jesus' Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Fluelin De Jesus, born on April 1st, 1963, in Iloilo, Philippines. Fluelin, a loving wife and mother, devoted sister, and cherished friend, left this world on October 21st, 2024.
Fluelin grew up in a large family, the second youngest of eight siblings—seven sisters and one brother. After being adopted by her aunt, she pursued her dream of becoming a nurse, earning her Bachelor's degree in Nursing in the Philippines.
On March 28, 1995, Fluelin married Jerry De Jesus, and together they welcomed two wonderful children into the world. Their first child, Janice, was born on April 5, 1995, followed by their son, Justin, on September 18, 1999. Fluelin poured her heart into raising her children, teaching them the values of love, compassion, and resilience.
In 1990, Fluelin moved to the United States, where she continued her nursing career at Alameda Hospital. Known for her gentle spirit and dedication, she touched the lives of countless patients and colleagues, embodying the true essence of a caregiver.
Fluelin faced her own battles with courage, bravely fighting and overcoming cancer. Her strength and positivity were an inspiration to everyone around her.
She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who will always remember her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love. All love and support will be deeply appreciated by the De Jesus family.Rest in peace, Fluelin. Your spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved you.
