Ernest was like a Big brother. I met Ernie in 1998; we worked together, laughed, cried with me, and fought each other, but at the end of the day, it was all love. Hello Joan. I am not sure if we are related or not; however, I have been seeking out my father’s family members for several years. My father was Dorsey Williams (d’cd 1969). His father is named Earnest Williams father’s brother was named Earnest Williams, Jr. (d’cd 1985). The elder Earnest Wms. moved from Vivian, La. and lived in Jefferson, Tx. for a while. My father’s mother on his birth certificate is LV Hall however, I believe her name was actually Elva Hall. other siblings of my father are Maurice Williams, Jimmy Williams and Lorece Johnson Richardson, all of Dallas, Tx. I’m so sorry for your loss. There is a scripture in the Bible that always brings me comfort. It’s found at Isaiah 26:19. This is a wonderful hope we have for the future. I hope this helps, even a little during this hard time.
