Master Deepak Ji

January 12, 1968 – September 5, 2017

Deepak Kumar (aka Master Deepak Ji) was born in Punjab, India. He was the second youngest child of Lachhman Dass and Rajwanti. He was born in the family of gurus and sadhus. He developed his interest in astrology and meditation when he was in the middle school, and started walking on the path of saints and gurus at a very young age.

He was full of life, a traveler at heart and loved being around nature and almost travelled the whole India with his few friends when he was really young.

In 1992, he was married to Neelam Kumari aka Monica Rattu in Punjab, India. Then on July 21, 1993,they both given birth to son, Dimple Kumar, his son is living in Australia now.

Deepak Ji knew deep inside him that he would settle his life abroad and moved to England in 1995 and he stayed there for few years, after that he has been in few countries and finally settled in California, USA in 1999.

And it was in California where he started practicing his knowledge of astrology and meditation and started helping and healing people with his knowledge who needed his help. He had a huge contribution in the development and recognition of Indian community in the Bay Area. He helped in organizing Indian events like Indian festivals, art and cultural events.

He was Mr. funny bone, life of a party and had many friends. A family or friend gathering was not complete without him. People who knew him personally would know about his funny dance moves. He also displayed unconditional love towards his family and friends.

As we all know he was full of positive vibes and energy and always had a very calming aura around him which he whole heatedly spread among people he used to meet.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests if any one wants to donate, they should donate to hurricane relief fund or such non profit organizations because that is what Master Deepak Ji would want and it will also make his soul rest in peace.

  1. Happy Birthday!
You would have been 50 today my love! I will still light 50 candles and celebrate your life, your acheivements and your souls journey with our little one… his birthday came and went. This Dec everyones house was lit up all around the cheers were evident in multi colored lights yet ours was the bleakest Dec ever. It is still unbelievable that you are gone yet no more sweet poems in my text or songs from you is a stark reminder of your absence. Cold void! I hurt for all your loved ones and their loss and the void your absence has created in their lives. You were loved by many men and women. I hurt for each and all. I hope time bring us all healing and our prayers reach your soul in its journey and may your path be void of obstacles.
We love you so much! Miss you everyday! Forever 💔
    Happy Birthday Sweetheart!

  2. ❤We Love You and Miss You☄

I miss you my love, my friend, and mentor. You knew my strengths, my flaws, and supported me just the same without any judgements. You helped my family understand my ways and I will never forget your smile and the sound of your laughter. Your love of music and arts, your love of the California Coast, your love of good healthy food—so many things about you that I will never forget. We will never understand why you and your friends were takin away from us the way that you were…but I know that wherever you are in the Cosmos, you are divine. There will never be another like you ☄Our hearts ache and are heavy with pain and sorrow because we miss you everyday. I’m sorry for not hanging out with you…I was a fool, I thought there would always be a tomorrow. Forgive me my friend😢😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Things will never be same, God Bless U and until we meet again❤

  3. In Memory of Master Deepak Kumar

    Written by: Ash Singh

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.
Rest In Peace .. you will be missed 😭😭
