Dave was the big brother of my childhood friend Paul. Dave loved Motown & soul music back in the day and had a nice record collection. I'd go over to their house to see Paul and Dave would share whatever he was listening to. Sly, Otis, Aretha, Ike and Tina. He always had a big smile on his face, like he knew a secret or something. Always pleasant. Godspeed Buddy 🕊️🙏

The Gutierrez Family is planning a memorial service in Dave’s honor. Details to be confirmed. A more detailed obituary will be published in Bay Area news papers and shared online at a later date. The family is taking time to process and mourn the loss of our dear “Zeke.” He was a loving and jolly father, brother, husband, and friend to many.
Went to high school with Dave. I called him Smiley as he always had a sweet smile on his face. Love how he posted oldie songs on Facebook. So very sad and he will be deeply missed. Loving sympathy to his family and friends. Dance amongst the stars in heaven, Dave.
