  • It is with more than a THANK YOU to Yolonda!! On Saturday, May 29, 2015, after visiting other family member at the Chapel of the Chimes, I stopped by your offices. I request the location of a family member, Myron and Bettie Shelton. Yolonda assisted me far and beyond. She had located a "Shelton" in the Garden of Light, west. Yolonda walked with me to visit my cousin and her husband. We located the sight and found that there were no inscriptions on the books. We both thought that strange. She asked me to call her back and she would do some research. Research she did!! She found that my cousin Bettie and Myron were actually buried in the Garden of Honor. The first sight turns out to be my second cousin, Steven Shelton, before need. Yolanda telephoned me and explained why we were not able to locate the correct sight. I want to thank Yolonda so very much. She is not only a nice person to speak with, but she is most courteous and well, just plain delightful. THANK YOU YOLANDA FOR YOUR EFFORTS.   • I was helped by Eziguel who of his own volition offered to raise my mother's grave as it had sunk so deep I would not get the vase out. He put clean sand all around her grave and even put the flowers in the vase for me. ( I am disabled) He is a very kind, valuable employee and I would like a note to go in his file.

  • Dear Harry and the Chapel of the Chimes - Thank you for your donation to The Springstone School's sugar skull activity day! Our students love this activity and it helps to foster their skills for spatial orientation, fine motor coordination, problem solving, and creativity. Currently the Springstone School serves students 6th through 12th grade. Springstone's mission is to foster independence, self worth and a sense of community in preparation for high school and the years beyond through small structured classrooms and an integrated teaching approach.

  • On behalf of the K. family, I write to thank you very much for the excellent arrangements for the funeral service that were put in place for Saturday December 21st. It was a very difficult and sad day for my daughters and me, but we drew much comfort from the most thoughtful and caring way in which you and everyone at Chapel of the Chimes handled matters. Please extend our thanks in particular to James Campbell who so helpfully directed the proceedings from the chapel to the gravesite. Most of all, thank you for your kind assistance when we met with you and Bob Codeglia to make all the necessary choices, and for your presence on December 21.

Please let your administrators know that our family will be forever appreciative of the assistance and kindness we were shown. We will let everyone we come into contact know of your services. The kindness and GREAT professionalism and empathetic qualities you and your company has is rare in these times and will never be forgotten. My family was very pleased with the plot site and it brought smiles and comfort to their hearts, to know that F. was laid to rest in a place where he could forever be on watch :).   • Hi Shannon Thank you for arranging a wonderful service for my Mom. I did not see you after our service, to thank you personally. I did talk to David Martin, and in Chinese tradition, we do give a red envelope to those who have helped in my Mom's funeral service. I gave David, the associate who was helping with the casket today, and you a red envelope for good luck. If David has not given it to you yet, just follow up with him.

  • Hi Shannon, I wanted to tell you in person how much I really appreciated the way you followed up with me regarding my concerns of correctly identifying my mother since I could not bare to see her again after her passing. I did not want to cloud my wonderful memories of her with any more painful images. I feel confident that I fulfilled her last wishes by ensuring she is now resting near my father. Thank you for giving me that assurance without have to confirm it myself. That sincerely eased some of my pain. I am very grateful. Thank you.

    Hello Debbie, Please relay to Rev. Brown and Dave for helping us with D.K's service. Words cannot express the gratitude I feel to them both for stepping in and helping us with a very difficult situation. I am sure you have figured out this whole scenario has been difficult for us because this landed unexpectedly in our laps complicated with the fact that we live so far away. About 20 people were missing from his service, here again, English translation issues. Rev. Brown gave such a heartfelt benediction. I was so touched by their kindness and helpfulness even for such a small little gathering as we had. Thank you , thank you Debbie, for getting the military honors for us. Honors is so meaningful to a military family and for one who has served so long in such a controversial war. It seems like a simple and short thing, the presentation of the flag, gun salute, and presentation of bullets. To a military family it is the final closure and respect. I so appreciate you patience and redoing my uncle D.'s cards at the 11th hour. They were beautiful.

Our past experiences with making arrangements were filled with attempts to make us feel as if we were shortchanging our loved one. This experience was good even though it is always a bad situation from the "customer" side.
